On June 19, 2024, the Green Kindergarten in Qingshihpu, Taoyuan, collaborated with the Qingshihpu Fire Department to organize a visit to strengthen disaster prevention awareness among children. The event aimed to instill disaster preparedness concepts and knowledge among children, who could then advocate this information to their families. Through interactive activities like water gun shooting, fire prevention briefing, and earthquake experience simulation, the children gained insights into the firefighters' work and had the chance to experience being junior firefighters for a day. The fire department highlighted the importance of early warning and evacuation by introducing fire safety measures and showcasing fire trucks and ambulances to the enthusiastic children.
