A recent poll by the Taiwan Public Opinion Foundation shows that 48% of Taiwanese citizens approve of President Lai Ching-te's handling of national affairs, with 26% disapproving. The survey, conducted less than a month after Lai took office, indicates a significant decrease in support for the president. However, despite the drop, Lai remains in a relatively comfortable position with a 25.6% disapproval rating. The survey involved 1,070 adults and had a margin of error of approximately three percentage points.
