According to a recent national political poll by the Liberty Times, although President Lai Ching-te's approval rating has increased after one month in office, the dissatisfaction rate has also risen significantly by 9.4%. The poll indicates that among the previously neutral observers of President Lai's administration, a significant portion have turned towards dissatisfaction rather than satisfaction. Various demographic groups such as males, residents in specific regions, specific age groups, education levels, and political affiliations have shown an increase in dissatisfaction with President Lai's governance compared to the previous month. Overall, the majority of the public leans towards being satisfied with President Lai's governance, especially in certain regions and age groups, lower education levels, and certain political affiliations. The poll was conducted among 1074 participants, with a maximum sampling error of ±3% at a 95% confidence level.
