The Presidential Office stated that President Tsai Ing-wen signed the Legislative Yuan's Parliament Reform Bill amendment reconsideration bill with comments, noting that the review process has raised significant social concerns. The bill contains constitutional disputes violating the separation of powers and infringing on people's basic rights. Regarding the Parliament's expansion of power, President Tsai emphasized the need for legal and constitutional reform methods, ensuring that the Legislative Yuan's investigative powers do not encroach on judiciary and oversight powers, protecting individuals' basic rights like privacy, trade secrets, and freedom of expression. President Tsai plans to request constitutional interpretation and temporary injunctions to safeguard the constitutional order and people's rights.
