However, President Tsai's official LINE account simplified the interview content into 'mutual non-alignment across the strait,' which was criticized by Kuomintang lawmakers as switching concepts and playing word games. The lawmakers raised questions on whether President Tsai was aligning more with former President Tsai's 'Four Definitive Noes' or trying to involve former President Ma Ying-jeou to ease tensions.
