Dr. Chang Hung-Pin from the Emergency Medicine Department of Asia University Hospital pointed out the rising number of people visiting the emergency department due to heat emergencies. He highlighted the impact of high temperatures and humidity on human health, emphasizing the importance of prevention against heat injuries. Dr. Chang explained the five types of heat emergencies that can occur and provided tips on how to handle each situation, stressing the need for hydration, appropriate clothing, and avoiding overexertion in hot and humid environments.
