To prevent landlords from overcharging electricity bills, the Ministry of the Interior is amending the regulations related to electricity bills in the standardized lease contracts, set to be officially implemented by mid-July. The revision aims to ensure that landlords do not exceed the electricity fee standards when calculating electricity charges for tenants, with each unit not surpassing the 'current average electricity price per unit' or the 'total electricity bill for the period'. The amendment also includes obligations for landlords to provide electricity fee information and allows tenants to directly inquire about electricity fees from the power company. This new regulation emphasizes fair and transparent electricity fee collection for rented properties.
