According to the Taiwan Institute of Economic Research's latest survey on economic trends, prices are expected to remain high in the second half of this year, with inflationary pressures even surpassing those of the first half. In response to rising raw material and operating costs, several well-known brands, including the renowned souvenir brand 'Chia Te Bakery' and yogurt ice cream shop 'Snowflake,' have announced price hikes starting from July 1. Chia Te Bakery's top-tier 24-piece assorted egg rolls will officially exceed 1,000 NTD, reaching 1,080 NTD. Similarly, Snowflake will increase prices by an average of 6% to 8%. Consumers may need to readjust their shopping budgets and consumption plans to cope with the impacts of rising prices.
