According to Mark Benedetti, the executive president of Ardian, private equity sales are anticipated to recover during Donald Trump's second term, potentially reaching levels comparable to 2018 and 2019. At the World Economic Forum in Davos, he noted that many investors who had been holding back are now looking to market their assets, easing the prior stagnation in deal-making. Benedetti emphasized that while the pace won't return to the highs of 2021, improvements are on the horizon, especially in the technology sector where recent acquisitions have already begun.
