Due to declining birth rates affecting school enrollments, another high school is set to close down! Tongji High School in Chiayi County, Taiwan, has been approved to stop new admissions since January. With only 18 senior students remaining in the 113th academic year, the school is expected to cease operations by the end of July 2024. The school was included in the first batch of schools receiving special assistance due to significant financial deterioration. The Ministry of Education approved the restructuring of Tongji High School's board of directors, leading to its planned closure.
