In response to the talent shortage in key industries and to provide more job opportunities for college youth, the Bureau of Labor Affairs actively promotes the 'Pre-Employment Program for College Youth', encouraging key industries to pre-employ college youth, strengthen their practical workplace skills through job training, and pave the way for their employment. Since 2012, the Kaohsiung-Pingtung-Penghu-Taitung Region has cooperated with 146 companies, offering 1082 job vacancies, aiming to create more suitable job opportunities for youth. By integrating industry resources, providing over 320 hours of on-the-job training for students, and assigning senior employees as workplace mentors, the program helps youth accumulate work experience and adapt to the workplace before graduation.
