As part of the post-earthquake incentive travel program in Hualien by the Tourism Bureau, various travel platforms have offered discounts to stimulate Hualien tourism. Local lodging businesses in Hualien have also launched special offers for the upcoming summer holidays. For instance, Far Eastern Delight Hotel in Hualien is introducing the 'Sailing to the Pacific' project, renovated to resemble a cruise ship with packages starting at NT$8,800. Visitors staying during the summer can participate in a nearly NT$100,000 'Delight Holiday' lucky draw, with prizes including deluxe suite tours, ocean park experiences, and themed room stays. Other hotels like Farglory Hotel Hualien and Ruisui Sky Spring International Hotel are also offering attractive promotions to capitalize on the government’s subsidy scheme, aiming to attract more tourists to Hualien.
