The Financial Supervisory Commission issued the 'Sustainable Development Action Plan for Listed Companies' on March 28, 2024, requiring listed companies to prepare sustainability reports starting next year. Amendments to the 'Guidelines for Public Offering Companies to Establish Internal Control Systems' and 'Criteria for Assessing the Effectiveness of Internal Control Systems' were made on April 22 this year to further promote the establishment of internal control systems for 'sustainable information management' as a necessary annual audit item for listed companies from next year, assisting them in achieving sustainable development goals. To help companies plan and respond early, the GreTai Securities Market will hold four 'Internal Control Advocacy Meetings for Sustainable Information Management' in cooperation with the Stock Exchange, Futures Exchange, Securities Depository, and Institute of Audit. The events will take place on the 8th at the Han Lai Hotel in Kaohsiung, the 17th at the EVA Airways Hotel in Taichung, the 23rd at the Sheraton Hotel in Hsinchu, and the 30th at the Taipei International Convention Center, inviting representatives from listed companies to attend.
