Prosus NV has agreed to purchase Just Eat Takeaway.com NV for €4.1 billion ($4.3 billion), marking a significant move to enhance its presence in the European food delivery market. This all-cash acquisition at a premium price aims to bolster Just Eat's competitive edge against rivals like Uber Eats and Deliveroo, leveraging Prosus's existing investments in food delivery platforms.
