On June 10, 2024, various civil groups gathered outside the Legislative Yuan to protest the continued review of parliamentary reform legislation. Following the end of the first phase of the anti-legislative abuse movement on May 28, the groups initiated the New Taipei work team to engage with blue camp constituents and apply pressure on blue camp legislators to reverse their votes before the legislative re-decision. The movement aims to prevent democratic regression and involves various civil society organizations collaborating for on-the-ground dialogues and activities to influence blue camp legislators' voting tendencies when reviewing the legislation.
