On June 18, 2024, in Perak, Malaysia, members and volunteers of Tzu Chi Medical Association provided health check-ups, medical consultations, cupping, and acupuncture services to 25 care recipients in the community of Kampar, aiming to alleviate their pain, provide spiritual comfort, and listen to their voices. Volunteer Yu Shuxin mentioned that during the cupping process, the physicians also took the opportunity to listen to the care recipients' feelings and guide them on how to express themselves. The care recipients expressed feeling more comfortable and relaxed after receiving the services.
