During his family's visit to the U.S., Xu Haoming's mother and grandmother were involved in a serious car accident while attending his graduation ceremony after he graduated with outstanding results from the U.S. Air Force Academy. Coming from a poor family in Penghu where his father suffered a stroke, the accident added significant medical expenses stress to the family. Fundraising efforts by the Colorado Taiwanese Association and Emergency Relief Association have reached $330,000 in donations, exceeding the $250,000 target, with over 2,500 people contributing to help Xu Haoming's family overcome this challenge.
