In the face of the controversial 'Three Transportation Projects in Hualien and Taitung' proposed by Fu Kun-Chi, the Chief Convener of the Kuomintang Legislative Yuan Caucus, which are likely to be the focal point of the upcoming special session in the Legislative Yuan due to the staggering budget involved, a street interview conducted by Yahoo TV's 'Wind of Taiwan' revealed that the majority of citizens believe priority should be given to the construction of the Hualien-Taitung Expressway, with less enthusiasm shown for the extension of National Freeway No. 6 through the Central Mountain Range and the construction of the Round-Island High-Speed Rail.
