The Public Party's Legislative Yuan caucus announced in a press conference that they advocate for the Legislative Yuan to extend the session to complete the review of NCC commissioners and examiners. Party leader Huang Kuo-chang criticized current Premier Cho Jung-tai for not taking a stand on the new list of NCC commissioners proposed during the Tsai Ing-wen administration, stating that Cho only seeks power without wanting to take responsibility. Huang emphasized the importance of accountability in politics and urged Cho to either endorse the list and undergo proper scrutiny or withdraw and submit a new nomination. The party condemns Cho for his lack of responsibility and insists on a thorough review of NCC personnel by the entire committee, indicating that if the nominees fail to pass the legislative review, the responsibility lies with the Lai Ching-teh administration and Cho's cabinet.
