During Russian President Putin's first visit to North Korea in nearly 25 years, he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un exchanged gifts such as a luxury Russian-made car, tea sets, and artworks. The extravagant welcome ceremony in Pyongyang included a one-on-one meeting, where Putin gifted Kim a luxury Aurus car and received tea sets and a navy admiral's sword in return. Despite international isolation, the meeting demonstrated solidarity between the two countries, with both signing agreements for military, economic, and cultural cooperation.
