Qantas Airways has come under fire for misleading almost one million customers regarding cancelled flights that were still being sold, resulting in a settlement to pay A$120 million in fines and compensation. Court documents revealed that the airline continued to sell tickets for over 71,000 flights they had already decided to cancel, often failing to inform affected passengers promptly. The misconduct led to the departure of CEO Alan Joyce and raised significant concerns about the company's ticketing practices.
