On June 8, 2024, at 4:10 PM, Quanta (2392) Group announced on May 27 that they will invest 2 billion NT dollars to establish Asia's largest green energy artificial intelligence (AI) computing center in Tucheng, expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year. It will feature 128 servers, 1,024 GPUs (H100), doubling the computing power of NVIDIA's Taipei-1 in Taiwan. Despite a strong initial impact, the stock price saw a peak the next day due to significant short-term gains. However, a quick chip consolidation halted the decline, with the stock price rising again on the 7th, showing potential for further gains in the short term. Quanta's May revenue was 7.286 billion NT dollars, a 33.14% increase year-on-year and 3.5% increase month-on-month, presenting dual growth. The accumulated revenue for the first five months was 33.309 billion NT dollars, marking a 10.04% annual increase.
