Taiwan News Network reported on June 9, 2024, at 12:15 am that Taiwan CPC Corporation announced an adjustment in gasoline and diesel prices starting from tomorrow, with an increase of 0.1 yuan. The prices will be as follows: 92 unleaded gasoline at 29.3 yuan per liter, 95 unleaded gasoline at 30.8 yuan per liter, 98 unleaded gasoline at 32.8 yuan per liter, and super diesel at 26.8 yuan per liter. CPC stated that despite the international oil price decrease, the adjustment index based on the 7D3B weekly average price fell by 4.64 US dollars, with the New Taiwan Dollar depreciating by 0.031 yuan. The calculation led to a 4.38% decrease, resulting in the proposed increase of 1.6 yuan and 2.9 yuan for gasoline and diesel, respectively. However, under the dual stabilization mechanism, gasoline and diesel prices will only rise by 0.1 yuan, with CPC absorbing the rest. As of the end of May in the 113th year of the Republic of China calendar, CPC has absorbed approximately 12.943 billion yuan. Edited by / Zhang Bishan.
