As of 3:55 PM, the Central Weather Bureau indicated that there is a high chance of short-duration heavy rain in mountainous areas of Nantou County and Tainan City today. Additionally, areas south of Greater Taipei and Miaoli, as well as various mountainous regions, are also expected to experience heavy rain. Beware of thunderstorms, strong gusts, flooding in low-lying areas, and landslides. The alert zones for heavy rain include Keelung's North Coast, Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan's mountainous regions, Hsinchu, Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, Nantou, Yunlin, Chiayi City, Chiayi County, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, Hengchun Peninsula, Yilan's mountainous regions, Hualien's mountainous regions, and Taitung's mountainous regions.
