In a recent exclusive report, a habitual thief surnamed Lin, who was arrested in Taichung on June 8, was released without detention by the Taichung prosecutor's office. After his release, the suspect continued committing crimes in various places in Taichung, Changhua, and even Miaoli, mainly stealing cars and using them for further thefts. He was arrested again by the Changhua police on June 14, and police officers from numerous stations rushed to take his statements.
