According to UBS's Global Wealth Report, the number of ultra-high-net-worth individuals with over 50 million USD in the Asia-Pacific region is expected to increase by 13% annually, reaching 123,000 by 2027, making up a third of the global total. The rise in super-rich individuals in China alone may surpass the total increase in Europe. The increasing wealth in the region and the need to pass on assets to the next generation are driving the flourishing development of family wealth management in Asia, particularly in locations like Hong Kong and Singapore competing for the position of wealth centers.
