Raspberry Pi Officially Listed on London Stock Exchange as 'RPI'

As confirmed in May and officially traded under the name 'RPI,' the Raspberry Pi has been listed on the London Stock Exchange with conditional trading initially open to specific institutional shareholders, with general trading for investors set to start on Friday. With the listing, Raspberry Pi expects to raise approximately £179 million in funding and increase the company's market value to £540 million. Following the listing, Arm's stake in Raspberry Pi is expected to increase, with a value estimated at $35 million, and European hedge fund Lansdowne has signed an investment agreement to purchase up to $20 million worth of shares. The raised funds will be used for future engineering research and development, enhancing product supply flexibility, and other commercial purposes, while the company promises to continue promoting scientific education and encouraging more involvement in computational science through their products.
