Federal appeals judges have ordered a lower court to redo the punishment of reality TV star Julie Chrisley for bank fraud and tax evasion after finding a legal error in how her sentence was calculated. Chrisley and her husband were convicted in 2022 for defrauding banks and hiding earnings while living extravagantly. Although the convictions were upheld, Julie Chrisley's 7-year prison sentence was overturned due to her not being properly held accountable for the entire bank fraud scheme, so her case was sent back for re-sentencing.
