Taiwan Power Company has just guaranteed that there will be no power supply issues in July, raising concerns about the possibility of power outages spreading to southern Taiwan. On July 2, a scheduled power outage for maintenance in Taixi Township, Yunlin caused by malfunctioning switches affected 553 households in Niu Cuo and Cheng Hai villages.
