On June 27, 2024, Taichung City's Huana Road in Dadu was upgraded with LED street lights, illuminating the Dadu hilltop. Known as the 'Blue Road,' the beautiful blue street lights along the road resembling a pearl necklace had attracted photographers and visitors, but many were disappointed due to 70% of the lights being damaged. Recently, the Taichung City Construction Bureau completed improvements to restore the beauty of the 'Blue Road,' replacing 106 traditional sodium lights with energy-efficient LED lights along the Yuyuan Road. This transformation aims to enhance the night view of Dadu hilltop and increase safety and comfort for road users.
