During a game between the Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers, tensions flared at Fenway Park when Red Sox reliever Chris Martin took exception to the Brewers bunting against him. Benches cleared, but no physical altercations occurred. Martin expressed his dislike for opposing batters bunting against him, stating that it may be a sign of disrespect and questioning their confidence in getting hits. Despite the incident, no players or coaches were ejected, and the Red Sox went on to win the game 2-1, improving their season record to 27-26.
