Cigarette butts, though small, cause significant pollution to the environment. The Environmental Department in Taiwan launched the 'Reduce Cigarette Butts, Clean Environment, Win Up to 30,000 NTD' creative contest to address this issue. With a total prize pool of 200,000 NTD, the contest aims to gather innovative solutions to prevent cigarette butt littering and promote a litter-free environment. Entries are open until August 5, 2024, encouraging individuals and groups to propose ideas focusing on the responsibilities of manufacturers and changing smoker behavior to reduce cigarette butt pollution effectively.
