Redwire Corp, a space infrastructure company, has announced its agreement to acquire Edge Autonomy for $925 million in a cash-and-stock deal. This merger aims to enhance Redwire's portfolio by combining space platforms with advanced autonomous airborne systems, potentially generating revenues of $535 million to $605 million for 2025. The acquisition is anticipated to be funded with $150 million in cash and $775 million in Redwire stock, and is expected to close in the second quarter pending regulatory and shareholder approvals.
