Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) member and incumbent lawmaker Chen Tingfei completed the party registration for the 721 party positions election, expressing her intentions to vie for the Central Standing Committee and actively prepare for the 2026 Tainan mayoral race. Despite being accused of factional withdrawal by not registering with the Righteous Parliament candidates, Chen clarified that she has always stood for the Righteous Parliament and stated, 'I am absolutely, definitely standing for the Righteous Parliament!'
