A residential building on Zhongxing Road in Longtan District, Taoyuan City, caught fire early this morning with flames uncontrollable. Taoyuan City Fire Department rushed to the scene upon receiving the report, guiding and rescuing 8 trapped individuals from the second and third floors. The cause of the fire is pending investigation by fire investigators. The fire occurred on the early morning of the 10th, consuming approximately 25 square meters mainly furniture and decorations on the first floor, with losses estimated at around NT$30,000.
