In the early hours of July 9, 2024, thick smoke suddenly emerged from a multi-story residential building in Anle District, Keelung, Taiwan, due to a car catching fire in the basement for unknown reasons. Fortunately, a resident going downstairs to pick up a delivery discovered the fire, leading to a coordinated effort among residents to extinguish it with fire extinguishers and notify emergency services. The fire was put out within half an hour without major injuries or damage. The cause of the car fire remains under investigation.
