U.S. clothing and footwear retailers are facing heightened tariff risks due to new levies announced by the White House affecting more than a dozen countries, particularly in Asia, including Vietnam and Indonesia. These tariffs, ranging from 25% to 40%, impact major brands like Ralph Lauren, Nike, Skechers, Capri, Tapestry, American Eagle, Abercrombie & Fitch, Lululemon, and Puma, all of which have significant portions of their manufacturing and sourcing operations located in these affected regions.
