On June 19, 2024, during a press conference, the band Mr. Chit, competing for the Best Band Award at the upcoming Golden Melody Awards alongside fellow band Gouwuroren, shared light-hearted banter and friendly competition. Vocalist Shenghao humorously pointed out the fierce competition by playfully mocking his friend, lead singer of Fire Extinguisher, for downplaying the importance of winning. Reflecting on the band's 12-year journey and the camaraderie among the group members, Shenghao expressed gratitude and highlighted the rarity and value of their long-lasting bond. Despite the competitiveness, the band is looking forward to the awards ceremony and their upcoming performance at Taipei Arena in September.
