The Ministry of Health recently announced that the number of people seeking medical treatment for heat-related injuries has reached 563 as of June 26 this year, surpassing the same period last year. They recommend avoiding going out between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., wearing breathable clothing, and staying cool. If body temperature continues to rise, vomiting occurs, or consciousness is unclear, immediate medical attention is advised. Skin experts also stress the importance of sun protection in the current hot weather to prevent sunburn, darkening, pigmentation, photosensitivity, premature aging, and even skin cancer.
