Rising Number of Free Counseling Sessions for Workers Due to High Stress Levels

Reported about 1 year ago

As modern life brings increasing stress, the Ministry of Labor has been concerned about the mental and physical well-being of workers since 2015 to prevent stress-related mental illnesses. By the end of 2023, they had assisted 1,300 individuals, with the number of people seeking help gradually increasing in recent years. The main counseling issues revolve around workplace bullying and adjustment, and each worker is entitled to six free counseling sessions yearly. Companies are also showing interest in this topic, emphasizing employee well-being and offering support to newcomers for smooth integration into the workforce.
