The 2024 Military Police Combat Competition kicked off on June 8, 2024, in Taipei with Taiwan's MMA champion 'Typhoon' Aokageki facing Thailand's Boxing King 'Smiling Assassin' Kompayak. The competition, organized by the Taipei City Police and Songshan Division, brought together military police from all over Taiwan at the 'UFC GYM.' Professional athletes like 'Muay Thai Pigeon' Deng Pingyun, Taiwan's Boxing King Hong Xiangjun, 'Typhoon' Aokageki, and Thailand's Boxing King Kompayak were also present, drawing in nearly 200 spectators with enthusiastic cheers and roars amid intense matches. The event aims to promote combat training among military police, fitness, and safety, and provide a platform for showcasing outstanding Taiwanese military police athletes, with hopes of becoming a prelude to the World Military Police Competition.
