Russia Air Strike Hits Ukrainian Children's Hospital, Ministry Condemns and Donates $200,000 Aid to Ukraine

On the morning of July 9, 2024, Kyiv, Ukraine faced the most intense attack from Russia in months, with at least 40 missiles being launched by Russian forces, severely damaging a children's hospital in Kyiv. The Russian air strike on Kyiv yesterday (7/8) resulted in the destruction of the Okhmatdyt National Children's Hospital, causing dozens of innocent children and civilians to be killed or injured. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned Russia's attack on the hospital and harm to children, announcing a donation of $200,000 to purchase medical supplies for the hospital. The Ministry expressed deep concern about the attack on the Kyiv National Children's Hospital by Russian artillery and pledged to continue to assist in safeguarding the basic dignity and human rights of the Ukrainian people.
