Kremlin forces struck a residential area in Kharkiv with glide bombs following missile and drone attacks on Ukraine's power system. At least three were killed in the northeastern city, and Ukrenergo extended planned blackouts after Russian missiles hit energy facilities for the eighth time since March. Russia confirmed the strikes in response to Ukraine's alleged attacks on their energy facilities, with Ivano-Frankivsk also experiencing a missile strike and equipment damage in Lviv and Zaporizhzhia. The power system has suffered repeated airstrikes since 2022, causing prolonged power outages across the country and destroying a significant portion of Ukraine's power output capacity.
