Russia sent four warships to visit Cuba, located just 145 kilometers from the U.S., on June 12, 2024. The Russian military, including the nuclear-powered submarine 'Kazan' and another frigate, along with two support vessels, docked at the port of Havana and are expected to stay until next Monday. This move is seen as a strong show of force against the U.S., with the ships equipped with 'Zircon' hypersonic missiles with a range of up to a thousand kilometers. While the U.S. military closely monitors the Russian warships, it is emphasized that they do not pose a direct threat. Reuters reported on the situation.
