A leading Russian rights group, OVD-Info, received a notice from YouTube threatening to block access in Russia to its anti-war video channel, Kak Teper, featuring news on the conflict in Ukraine. The email from YouTube cited content on the channel violating Russian law on information technology, with potential blocking if not removed. OVD-Info is consulting with YouTube to challenge the censorship, while Google has not responded to queries. YouTube recently deleted videos from other channels providing information on evading Russian military service, which were later reinstated. Blocking OVD-Info's channel would be the first instance of a Russian human rights channel fully banned on YouTube.
