Despite inflation and rising interest rates impacting consumer spending, RV sales in the US are gradually picking up, indicating a positive sign for the economy. The RV Industry Association (RVIA) estimates shipments between 329,900 and 359,100 units in 2024, increasing to 374,200 to 408,600 units in 2025. The industry saw a surge in demand due to the pandemic in 2021, with sales reaching over 600,000 units. Sales declined in 2022 and 2023 but are expected to bounce back in 2023 following the bottoming out. Consumers' RV-related spending decreased in 2023 but remained higher than pre-pandemic levels.
