Less than two weeks after the opening of the Da Nan Detention Basin in Ba De, Taoyuan City, a shaking fence incident raised concerns of potential collapse, prompting DPP city councilor Hsu Chia-jui to inquire about the issue. Taoyuan City Water Resources Bureau has since placed warning cones and expedited improvements, aiming to complete the work by June 27, while also conducting a comprehensive inspection of the protective measures along the route to ensure public safety. The bureau discovered that the structure's base may not have sufficient strength due to long-term exposure, thus taking immediate action to reinforce the fence and enhance safety measures at the site.
