France's Saint-Gobain has announced a deal to purchase FOSROC, a construction chemicals company based in Dubai, for approximately 960 million euros ($1.03 billion). The acquisition, to be funded entirely with cash, is aimed at expanding Saint-Gobain's international presence in construction chemicals, particularly in high-growth markets like India and the Middle East. The transaction is expected to be finalized by the first half of 2025, with projected synergies of $54 million by the third year post-acquisition.
