Saipem, in partnership with SOCAR affiliates, has been awarded three offshore contracts worth approximately $700 million for BP's Shah Deniz Compression Project in the Caspian Sea. Saipem's share is about $600 million, covering the transportation and installation of a new compression platform and the construction of subsea pipelines. This work will utilize local Azerbaijani vessels and is set to begin in late 2026, reinforcing Saipem's established presence in the region.
