Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce, has apologized for his recent pro-Trump comments advocating for the deployment of the National Guard in San Francisco, which drew significant criticism from local officials and allies. After addressing safety concerns surrounding the Dreamforce conference, he clarified that he no longer believes the National Guard is necessary and expressed regret for any concern his comments may have caused. His remarks had already resulted in the resignation of a longtime friend from Salesforce's philanthropic board.
